Jim Watson was my first instructor at NYREI. He is by far the best instructor there. He tries his best to keep his students engaged and takes the time to make sure that everyone understands the topic before moving on to the next. He doesn't just simply read from the book. He also provides examples from his experience in the Real Estate world. I would strongly recommend that you take as many of Jim's classes as possible. You especially want to attend his tutoring sessions when you are getting ready to take the tests! Thanks Jim!

I took Jim Watson's review class for the NYS Exam for the Salesperson's license. It was the best review I have ever taken. Jim is a great teacher and has an instruction method which gets right to the heart of the issue. He gave a very comprehensive review and covered the topics that I needed to know to pass the exam. His help with the math questons was also fabulous. I recommend that every student who is able to take this class do so. I plan to take Jim's review class for the school exam next.
When it comes to Jim Watson he gets the job done. He excepts nothing short of success. He is your light at the end of the tunnel, and I can say that because when i extended my arm for help Jim grabbed it and guided me all the way through. Jim Watson is all you will ever need as a teacher. He is exciting, informative, caring, fun, and serious. What more do you want.

What more can I say that hasn't already been stated. Jim is not only a well seasoned real estate investor but great instructor who relates real life experiences in every class lesson. This creates a visual learning experience that is aligned with everything that is in the book. Great instructor!
Jim Watson was the best of many good teachers at NYREI. His examples and anecdotes are illustrative and memorable. My class-time with him was a key factor in my passing of the licensing exams.
While in Mr. Watson's class, I had to be extremely focused the whole time because he is an expert and has an no-fills, to-the-point style, which is great because he makes the materials come to life with his many real-life examples and helps me understand a bullet point in the textbook that may leave me puzzled if I read it on my own. Great exprience!

I've always been interested in real estate. I like architecture and looking at and dreaming about the way people live and work in different space configurations. So, I decided to take a real estate class. I evaluated the various real estate schools, and I determined that NYREI would best fit my schedule and my needs. My expectations - good to begin with - were far exceeded! The breadth of the curriculum and the quality of the teachers are truly amazing. Each teacher has his or her own unique style, and each is very well versed in the aspects of the industry. Added bonus: the teachers are all really cool people. I found myself laughing a lot in class, because some of the teachers are so funny! Really loved Jim Watson! He's obviously a successful and passionate real estate professional. And the best part is, he really cares about the students and getting each of us on our own way to success in the field.
