One person in the NYREI that made an impression on me was Jim Watson. I was lucky to have made the front row during one of Jim Watson's evening classes, he gets you into the material and it motivates you to learn the concepts, memorize the terms, do what it takes to get through the class. Not only is Jim a great lecturer to have, he is a great person to get acquainted with: I had only a handful of hours down when I emailed Jim and I think he is going to help me position myself so as to succeed in Real Estate Sales. It takes a lot of initiative and self confidence to get yourself started in RE, we are in good hands at the NYREI. I suggest reaching out to Jim Watson, if of course you are interested in succeeding.

I love learning and I have learned a tremendous lot from Jim through Jim's expert style in teaching. He brings to his students not just class room, theoretical delivery, but real world knowledge. He has created a buzz in me to go forward into the RE world to conquer. He made it sound so exciting but also brought home the fact that it is all up to us as students to make a success of our RE career(s). He does not read from the text in class but draws from it and interprets the work in a concise fashion,but yet within enough space of time to bring home the concepts. I believe he has created in the minds of his students, or in my mind certainly, a visual concept of how it translates in real life. I came out of class each time pumped and excited for my future in RE.
Fantastic work Sir Watson and Thank! you for being you. I know that you are creating a world of wonderous minds and special RE agents/brokers. I look forward to taking the school exam on Monday and the State's right after. I also will definitely find you when its time to do the CE classes.

Jim Watson provides student, not only with the material that is needed for the examination, but with important information that will contribute to one's success once obtaining the license as well. His extensive experience in various different professions proves to be valuable in the classroom. His teaching methods are very effective, informative, and useful.

As a recent graduate of NYREI, Jim Watson has continued to be a mentor to me.
Sitting in the first couple of classes my head was spinning with the real estate lingo. I approached Jim after class one day, and expressed my feeling of being overwhelmed. He calmly informed me, the information will start clicking in. He advised me to take the tutoring courses, and "that I'd be alright".
He was the "go to" guy before and after my classes. Jim's narrative keep the material alive. After taking both his math prep and his tutoring course, with my confidence soaring, I passed the state exam.
Jim, you are the best instructor that NYREI has to offer. You make the learning experience fun by giving life examples of your experiences, and teach us exactly whats on the state exam. Jim Watson was the first instructor I had at NYREI and I must say, he set the bar for the instructors at the school. He teaches in a manner in which you can understand the information instead of just merely memorizing the book. I would recommend any student to sit in on Jim's classes. Thank you.

Need a word to describe Jim Watson: Excellent. Here's another: Outstanding. He is one of the best teachers at NYREI. You are lucky if you find yourself in one of his classes. He is no nonsense, direct, to the point and cares about your success. You will gain the most from attending his classes. Jim will tell you more than what the textbook has to offer coupled with his personal experience in the industry. He teaches you what you need to know and then some. He gives you 110% all the time and expects the same in return. Get there early, be prepared and pay attention.
Jim Watson was one of the main reasons I passed the school and state test without problems. Be sure to take his tutoring classes, and get to know him because he is a good guy.

Jim doesn't just read from the book. He teaches. And he makes sure to drive the most important points home, the ones that you will need to gain a comprehensive understanding of real estate. I can read the book at home, on my own time. I happen to be literate :). He makes the class worth my while and lets everyone know what it is they really need to know in order to succeed on the various tests they will come across in their real estate careers.
Mr. Watson is a terrific teacher. I enjoy his classes because they are in- depth, and demonstrate his passion for real estate. He also has a wonderful sense of humor, and is always prompt and available for questions or assistance.
