2 months ago, I knew absolutely nothing about Real Estate. I was working behind a bar, pretty miserable. I signed up for NYREI, and had the privilege of having Jim as my instructor for the majority of the classes I took there. I finished my classes in 2 weeks, passed the exams on the first go around, and in my first month as an Agent doing rentals in NYC, I'm getting ready to close my 5th deal. Jim Watson knows Real Estate. Listen to his stories, take in the lessons he has learned first hand navigating this business, and I guarantee you will be more successful because of it. Thanks, Jim.
All I can say is "wow!" Jim Watson is an amazing instructor. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to pass NYREI's school exam. He adds real-life experiences to his lectures, and is able to break down complicated material in an easy way. He also walked us through the math section, which I was most nervous about because math has always been the bane of me.

Jim Watson's Construction class is very engaging and creates excitement for a subject that may not have been otherwise. Try to schedule your classes around when Jim Watson is teaching he is great!! He not only wants you to pass your exams, he also educates you on real life problem, stuff that the text book doesn't teach you. He's not one of those instructors that just reads you the material straight out of the text book he explains to you the material you need to know for the exams both school and state, and also what you would need to know working as a real estate agent. He has a lot of experience in real estate so he knows what he is talking about.

I admire such people like Jim who work hard but always stay positive. Jim's tutoring for the test is a perfect review of RE course. Plus, everybody I met loves him as a teacher and a person.

Jim is a great instructor because he enjoys teaching and interacting with the students. To me this is the most important quality a teacher can have.
He can teach a class and have fun at the same time.
I was at REI for a couple of weeks before I aligned with Jim Watson in one of my sessions. Let me just say I took an extra two weeks to complete my course requirements so that I could take them with Jim. He is very comprehensive and informative in his technique of teaching. He outlines real life experiences of his own which in my opinion helps students grasp topics in more of hands on manner. I could only hope to be sî lucky as to have an "in your face" mentor in my career to come.

Recently took a Foreclosure/Investments course with Jim Watson,outside his thorough knowledge of the material,Jim adds his own life experience to the class that takes it to another level and keeps you glued to your seat, his professionalism and knowledge of the subject matter is nothing less than amazing if you choose to make a go of this Real Estaste thing.Jim also makes it fun and he's always a phone call/e-mail away if you have any questions pertainig to the course material,best money I ever spent.

I am a very fussy person come across finding the right tutor, with Jim watson I have nothing to complaint about.
Jim is an extram knowledgeable person comes to real estate, every single of his class is not just about passing the test, he always given us much more beyond that. I always try to make It to his class, as being in class is not just about reading the materials, is about learn something more practical, something that you don't learn from the book. Jim always given his decade experience in class which I like the most.

I have had 2 classes with Jim so far and he has demonstrated years of Real Estate experience and knowledge, tying his own personal experiences in the profession with our course work and preparations for the tests. A good teacher will be able to take real world experience and apply it to the information that is taught throughout the course and Jim has been able to do that while also keeping the sessions light and connecting with the packed classes at NYREI. Although I will be working solely in the Commercial Real Estate market I have a feeling that I may look out to Jim for advice early on in my career.
