Jim Watson was by far the most informative and influential teachers I took classes with at NYREI. I would schedule my time around when he was teaching because the knowledge I walked away with from him is priceless. As a past student of Mr. Jim Watson’s classes at NYREI, I have to say he was one a select group of instructor’s whose classes I attended. Jim taught I believe 8 of my 20 classes I took at NYREI and he was an all around amazing instructor. His attention to detail, his knowledge of this vast business and his willingness to assist students throughout the entire process was unparallel and very professional. Jim Watson was the highlight of my NYREI instruction!
He made me laugh in the midst of very dry material and kept me interested and alert. My schedule was set up to maximize taking his classes and it was well worth spreading them out to have a painless experience. His attention and good nature made it a pleasure and if I hadn't already had an agency to work with before I started the course, I would have taken up his offer to work with him in a heartbeat.

Jim Watson focuses his efforts on preparing all of his students for a career in real estate. He addressed the specifics of issues that occur in real estate by allowing an open forum for learning. His methods in teaching how to compute cap rates I still use today with many of my investor clients.
