Jim helped me pass my NYS Realtor Salesperson test after failing numerous times after a online course I took. After sitting for few hours with him I felt his instruction was clear and concise and I retained what he taught and passed the test. His knowledge and expertise in the real estate field is unsurpassed. Thank you Jim!
I have been a student at NYREI for 9 years now. It may be hard to believe but I honestly do remember my first class and will always remember my teacher; Jim Watson. Jim was always willing to help anyone out, at any time of the day, and try to put his best efforts to make you understand in his NYC real estate classes; including the study materials he had provided. He has absolutely the best ways to study in terms: learning his useful analogies, or metaphors, making you stay focused on the key important words to make sure you digest the real estate terminology so it really sticks in your head. He's a pretty fast talker, but he's very kind and patient to slow down the pace in order for you learn. Which was really cool. I'm happy to say that I had passed my salesperson exam 9 years ago with him being my tutor. And this past December I had PASSED my Brokers exam on the first try! ALL due to Jim being there for me and helping me study for the exam. I cannot thank him enough, and will always recommend him as the best the person for the job!
I met Jim Watson at the NYREI when I first attended the real estate school about 6 years ago for the NYS salesperson's licensing course. His courses were very informative and he was very personable. His review sessions helped me pass the mandatory school and state examinations. Throughout the years, he has invited me to other real estate events and expos. He has introduced me to other real estate schools. He also free of charge gave me excellent study guides for the NYS broker's licensing exam. He is a great teacher and good friend. He is loyal and cares about other people and his students. He is also a great teacher and kind person. I am lucky to know Jum Watson!
Jim is a very rare kind of real estate teacher. There are plenty of people out there who know the business, but to be able to teach it well is another thing. Not only does Jim know his stuff and know how to teach it, but he genuinely cares about his students. He has gone above and beyond to help me on several occasions, and even after being done with my schooling he checks in and gives me advice. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher!
Jim Watson is the person to see if you want to pass your NY real estate licensing exam. My wife, who was having issues studying and passing the practice tests because of a language barrier (her first language is French), was able to pass the school and state exam on the first attempt thanks to Jim's tutoring session. Jim knows his stuff and more importantly, he knows how to teach it so you understand. I only wish we knew about Jim before we wasted time and money buying different study guides, as all we really needed was a tutoring session with him. Thank you Jim!

Jim, you are amazing at what you do! Jim doesn't just teach you, he uses techniques you don't even realize are helpful until the moment of the test. At first I didn't understand why he would tell me a whole story (which by the way are very informative and interesting) with each question of mine. Then I got to the test and replayed those stories and was able to answer the questions instantly! Thank you. You are truly great at what you do.
I have had the honor of meeting and being tutored by Jim! He not only made this process actually fun and easy to digest, but his encouragement was the extra important component that was invaluable to me. Jim was amazing! He knows what he is talking about. I took my real estate course online with a different school and was struggling and I found this tutor program and it help so much. I wouldn’t of been able to pass either of my tests without it. I’d recommend it for anyone struggling with the material. He was also easy to get in contact with!
