About JIM WATSON

Jim Watson is a seasoned (35 years and counting) real estate broker and investor who is now devoting himself to helping others become successful in the field.  He has been training and tutoring students seeking to gain their NY Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License for the past 15 years in notable schools – New York University (NYU), the City College of New York (CCNY), and the New York Real Estate Institute( NYREI).

Jim has tutored thousands of students looking to pass their NYS Real Estate Licensing Tests. Even with a diverse international student population where often English is not a first language, Jim’s pass rate is better than 95%! (See testimonials in Buzz or Jim’s Facebook page)

Jim also manages private investment properties and has been teaching investment classes to those looking to purchase income generating properties for their real estate portfolios. After years of construction experience, Jim, a licensed NYS Home Inspector, brings another perspective as to whether a property is a good value or a potential headache.

Having done his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Buffalo, (where he met his wife Karen), his Master’s degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, (where he became a scuba instructor and pursued studies in underwater Archaeology), and finally, a graduate research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Jim learned the analytic skills that would enhance the practical, street education needed for a successful career in real estate and investment.
